I have Lexia and Diagbox which indicates the car thinks the front N/S wheel is travelling at 255kph. They also advise a Short circuit to positive or short circuit to earth or open circuit. I suspect all the problems/warnings come from this fault. What I have done: 1. replaced brake switch (before lexia) 2. checked gearbox selector oil (before
This can be resolved very quickly and easily by purchasing a repair kit. The old part number is 6450XZ, the new part number is 1607044080 from a Citroen or Peugeot dealer (they can both order it, my Citroen dealer had it in stock!). You will need the part number as my dealer hadn't heard of the fault (but had the part on the shelf?).
The gearbox is an automated manual, and needs to be driven with care to smooth the changes, particularly first to second. We've had it 3 years it's been making the banging noise for a couple of months and it seems to be getting worse. Could be engine mounts.

Thanks - the RAC had also theorised that the ESP alert and the other faults might be related to the injector fault, hence clearing the fault list and re-doing the diagnostics. I've had it recovered to the garage I bought it from - much to their chagrin (as I didn't buy a warranty), but 10 days and only 300ish miles after buying it, clearly I am PjV0E.
