The Evil Within 2 doesn't have a PS5 update or something per se, but with it's latest patch you're able to unlock the framerate and it runs on buttery smooth 60fps on PS5. It plays great this way

Far Cry, Watch Dogs, AC Origins and Odyssey are superior on PC. Most users with decent PCs are going to get superior frame rates at higher resolutons and graphic settings. These games, other than Watch Dogs Legion for some people, also scale so if you have a low powered mobile CPU/GPU you can still play the games with low settings.

Don't know about the PS5 version, as I finished the game on PS4. That being said, the game is great, especially if you are an older AC fan. It is nothing like the new trilogy. Gameplay is mostly fluid, especially when traversing the Paris rooftops. Assassination missions are one of the best and something I wish they would bring back with new AC

- All consoles hug 60 FPS very well but there are issues with duplicate frames after camera cuts on all platforms. - Opening cut-scene in Origins and opening fight in Odyssey drops frames on all consoles to mid 50s. - Some elements like physics on cloth are all still locked at 30 FPS. Not every element runs at 60hz.

The hardware was not actually consistently achieving anything remotely close to 60 FPS without the cap (because it couldn't), meaning that not having it just lead to frametime inconsistency and overall not-smooth gameplay due to the constant spikes and dips as far as the average FPS. Assassin's Creed Origins PS5 60FPS Patch Out Now For those of you who have been awaiting a glorious return to ancient Egypt, the time has finally arrived. The anticipated PS5 update for
\n\nis ac origins 60fps on ps5
Once Origins is 60fps then I can almost play the entire AC series at 60fps on console, minus Syndicate and Black Flag. And this isn't a console war comment, I have both a series X and a PS5, I just think Xbox's FPS boost was a literal game changer. The Xbox 360 version of Assassin's Creed Rogue had an uncapped framerate that varied between 25-40fps, with the Xbox One remaster locked to 30fps. I decided to test the the 360 version just now on the Series S and it felt like smooth 60fps and didn't perceive any drops, although I was walking around in the starting area (resolution unchanged). 5.
Origins has extremely high CPU usage. It sucks and there isn't really much that can be done (from your end) unfortunately. I have a 1060 6gb and i5 6500 and just decided to cap the framerate at 45. My GPU and CPU usage is just like yours. OP has an i7 7700k, that's pretty high end.
