Really hope someone can give me a bit more advice on my current Disco problems! I have a 2006 Disco 3, TDV6 HSE I have read through many of these blogs and threads and found certain points that I check and replaced where needed, but my landy is still giving me the famous Suspension Lowered, its down on access height, HDC off, Special programs off.

Jun 23, 2014. #1. i have a 2008 Discovery 3 TDV6 loosing coolant - possible head gasket gone, its been into a main dealer and they have carried out leak test and say its a internal leak but at the same time wont 100% confirm it. ive done some digging around over the weekend and everyone seems to be surprised when they hear TDV6 head gasket gone

Problem started at about 240,000kms returning from Arnhem Land, initially erratic but now every 1-2kms. Also problem occurs around Perth at low speed and at high speed or cruise control. Initially got some relief of several thousand km when I started or drove in Sports Mode, but now nothing helps.

3. Mar 27, 2009. #1. So..I have a 2006 Discovery 3 (manual) and at 25k miles the clutch goes and is replaced under warantee. The well documented burning smell beforehand. I have other problems, you know the handbrake fault blah blah blah, but I'm happy to take all that in the normal rough and tumble of owning a Land Rover and loyalty to Blighty
HTML code is Off. I bought a second hand Landrover disco 3 and have been driving it for 7 months with no problem. About a couple of months ago starting it became a problem. Turning the key , the starter attempts to get the engine to kick in but to no avail. A work around was to disconnect the battery terminals for about 10-15 minutes.
